My points of contention with BMW SPECIALTY SHOP B
I feel that the gross negligence exhibited by persons in the employ of BMW SPECIALTY SHOP B in operating the motor with debris in the combustion chamber is directly responsible for all damage to the engine, and I am confident that that fact can be demonstrated beyond a reasonable doubt.
Furthermore, I contend that the motor should not have been operated until definite assurance was obtained as to the removal of all debris from the combustion chamber, and that this assurance would represent the minimum level of care expected of a professional entrusted to conducting this type of service.
After all, I did end up paying to have the head removed and the combustion chamber cleaned anyway-
If I had made such a mistake doing the work myself, I would be quick to acknowledge that I was going to need to buy a new motor.
But I took the vehicle to an expensive shop that promised the most professional level of service with the belief and good faith that that is what I would receive.
